Ottawa Furnace Parts
You have chosen to purchase the equipment without installation services. Please note the following terms and conditions that apply to your purchase.
Our HVAC guarantees do not apply to purchase of equipment without installation services.
For equipment purchased without installation services, you are responsible for determining that the equipment (including, without limitation, the sizing of the equipment) is appropriate for your requirements.
Before proceeding with your order to purchase equipment without installation services, we recommend that you consult with a licensed installing contractor to confirm that you are selecting equipment that is appropriate for your requirements.
We are not responsible if the delivered equipment is not appropriate.
Upon receiving, please make sure there is no visible damage on the equipment. If you notice any damage, contact us immediately without accepting the delivery and signing for it and we will ship you another unit. This is the only circumstance in which we will accept return of equipment purchased without installation services.
Please note that, under applicable laws in Ontario, all natural gas appliances, such as a furnace or water heater, must be installed by a licensed gas technician. https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/010215
Please also note that, the manufacturer’s warranty for such equipment requires that it be installed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines, and also requires that the equipment must be registered online within 60 days of installation in order to extend the 5-year parts warranty to ten years.
Please note that under applicable laws in Ontario, any air conditioner that is required to be wired into a premise must be installed by a licensed refrigeration contractor.
Please also note that, according to the manufacturer’s warranty, such equipment must be installed by a licensed refrigeration contractor in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines, and also requires that the equipment must be registered online within 60 days of installation in order to extend the 5-year parts warranty to ten years.
By checking the box below, you confirm that:
(i) the selected equipment meets your requirements and
you understand that once the equipment is received by you, it cannot be returned to us;
(ii) you will ensure that the equipment is installed by a licensed technician or contractor authorized to deal with gas and/or electrical appliances and installations; and
(iii) you will register the equipment with the manufacturer within 60 days of installation.
All products sold by Ottawa Furnace Parts Inc. carry a manufacturer’s warranty. They are NOT manufactured by Ottawa Furnace Parts Inc. and therefore products are covered ONLY by the manufacturer’s warranties and subject to their terms.
There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied by Ottawa Furnace Parts Inc. If you believe that you have a defective product, please refer to the warranty information package with your products. All warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Ottawa Furnace Parts Inc. expressly disclaims liability for any injury, loss, damage, or cost (including labor) of any kind, arising from the use of or inability to use any item sold. In no event shall Ottawa Furnace Parts or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages. This applies to all situations however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), and strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law.
Ottawa Furnace Parts may make improvement and/or changes in products, programs, and pricing in this publication at any time. Ottawa Furnace Parts shall not be held liable for clerical, graphical and printing errors. We do reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone and refuse sales that are the result of a clerical error or error in quote. Possession of website material or literature for Ottawa Furnace Parts does not constitute the right to purchase products from Ottawa Furnace Parts.
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, or error in pricing or product information from our suppliers, Ottawa Furnace Parts shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Ottawa Furnace Parts shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
Parts Return Policy
All parts, electronic and digital components as well as “Custom” orders are non-refundable.
Products are eligible for returns for 15 days after delivery. Call us for assistance. You are responsible for the cost of shipping for items you return to us. The returned item must be received in the same condition as it was delivered to you.
Products must be returned in “like new” condition in the original packaging; including warranty cards and ALL owners’ manuals must be returned.
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns without a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, or the orders you refuse at the time of delivery will result in your credit being delayed or denied. You will be required to provide i) your RMA number ii) the product you are wishing to return, iii) the reason you are wishing to return the product and iv) a photo of the product to prove quality.
You should allow 3-5 business days after we receive the returned good to process your refund. (Not including the time, it takes you to initiate a refund).
Please also note that we are unable to credit you shipping charges.
Order Cancellations and Changes
For the benefit of our customers, we strive to process orders as soon as possible. As such, orders may be shipped from our warehouse for fulfillment almost immediately after they are placed.
Once an order reaches processing phase, due to difficulty of finding orders during the order fulfillment process, we are unable to make changes and/or cancellations as the order is no longer accessible.
We ask the clients to review orders carefully prior to submission. In case a cancellation is required, please contact us as soon as possible to increase the likelihood that we are able to stop your order from leaving order processing to warehouse fulfillment. Please note that although we will do our best, we are not able to provide such a guarantee.
