Pre-Installation Procedure
- Prior to installation, we assess the home and existing equipment.
- We calculate the correct system size and verify line-set and electrical requirements.
- We explain the full installation process and answer any questions.
Post-Installation Procedure
Heat pump installation includes:
- Safe disconnect and removal of existing equipment.
- Full installation by a licensed HVAC technician.
- New or existing line-set connection (inspected and pressure-tested).
- Vacuum, leak check, commissioning & calibration (airflow, refrigerant charge, controls).
- System start-up with operational testing and clean jobsite.
- Basic homeowner orientation (thermostat & maintenance tips).
Upgraded Installation (if required)
- New disconnect switch and outdoor electrical whip. $100 + tax
- High-voltage wiring to code (panel to outdoor unit). $10/ feet
- Surge protector for equipment protection. $150 + tax
